Key Responsibilities- Provide expert legal advice on construction law matters, including drafting and negotiating consultancy contracts, and advising on regulatory and compliance issues.
- Collaborate with the broader legal team to develop and implement legal strategies that support the business.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate legal risks, and provide guidance on best practices for managing legal issues.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external counsel and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in construction law and regulations, and provide training and guidance to non-legal staff on relevant legal issues.
- Tertiary law degree and current practicing certificate.
- At least 2-3 years PQE in construction law, with experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing legal documents.
- Strong understanding of construction law and regulations, with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide clear and commercial advice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
