We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cafe Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

The Cafe Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cafe, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring that all food and beverage products meet our quality expectations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Supervise and coordinate the work of cafe staff to ensure efficient operation of the business
    • Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly
    • Monitor and control stock levels, ordering supplies as needed, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory
    • Implement and maintain effective systems for waste management and recycling
    • Conduct regular health and safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
    • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications

    • Proven experience in managing teams and leading change initiatives
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Able to motivate and inspire staff to achieve high performance
  • Customer Service:
    • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve conflicts in a professional manner
    • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Financial Management:
    • Experience with financial management and budgeting
    • Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications relevant to the role
    • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures

    • Understanding of business principles and practices
    • Ability to think strategically and develop plans to achieve business objectives
  • Adaptability:
    • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
    • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
