As a tyre fitter, you will be responsible for servicing mobile plant and light vehicle fleets on-site. Your duties will include tyre maintenance, service truck operations, and daily machine servicing.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform tyre maintenance tasks such as changing earthmoving tyres up to 25 inches and road train tyres including 11R and 295 series.
- Operate the site service truck and perform daily machine servicing, greasing, and fluid top-ups.
- Fuel mobile plant and light vehicles as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a tyre fitter in civil, mining, or transport environments is essential.
- Exposure to earthmoving and heavy vehicle tyres is required.
- A Certificate II in Tyre Fitting is necessary.
- An HR Licence is also required.
- You must have mechanical aptitude and an eye for detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a small team is crucial.
- Flexibility to assist across other servicing duties on-site is a must.
