Propulsion Engineer Opportunity
">- We are seeking an experienced Propulsion Engineer to join our team in developing and qualifying processes for high-rate, mixed-product manufacturing of propulsion, avionics, and welded structural assemblies.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering, manufacturing engineering, materials engineering, mechanical engineering, or other relevant field, with at least 1 year of experience in process design and development.
About the Role
">This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence in manufacturing. As a Propulsion Engineer, you will be responsible for:
">- Developing and performing acceptance testing of manufacturing processes, techniques, and tools to ensure efficient and high-rate production.
- Designing and implementing precision tooling to eliminate assembly errors, improve quality, and minimize cycle time.
- Automating novel processes to ensure repeatability on high-rate manufacturing lines.
Requirements
">- Bachelor's or advanced degree in aerospace engineering, manufacturing engineering, materials engineering, mechanical engineering, or other relevant field.
- At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing and process design, including internships and academic projects.
Preferred Qualifications
">- Master's degree in an engineering discipline.
- Hands-on project experience with mixed value stream or high-rate manufacturing lines, focusing on maximizing yield and increasing rate.
- Proficiency in mechanical assembly methods, testing, failure mode effects analysis, and troubleshooting.
