About the Role

Australian Military Bank is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Broker Support Officer to join our team. As a key member of our broker channel, you will play a critical role in growing lending and associated product portfolio through mortgage brokers nationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage broker home loan applications, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Manage high pipeline volumes in a fast-paced environment, maintaining speed to decision (SLA's) and communicating with brokers on each stage of an application.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including credit and settlement teams, to ensure all applications are processed within agreed timeframes.
  • Identify and refer cross-sell opportunities, ensuring credit quality meets our standards.
  • Complete aggregator and broker compliance reviews, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Technical skills: understanding of diverse products, processes, and corresponding regulatory requirements.
  • Previous knowledge working with brokers/aggregators is preferred but not essential.
  • Understanding of the Mortgage Broker industry and Australian Military Bank's products, processes, and systems.
  • Verbal, numerical, and literacy skills, with proficiency in computer applications, including email, internet, and Microsoft applications.
