About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead key projects across our NSW business. As a pivotal member of our team, you will leverage your strong leadership and people management skills to deliver project portfolios on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate genuine safety-first leadership, leading by example to all employees.
  • Lead a large multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of the overall project scope within the time, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Drive high performance through collaboration, positive leadership, identification of risks, and interface with clients and authorities.
  • Support the wider team to ensure client partners and stakeholder expectations are managed.
  • Accurately and clearly report on the performance of all projects within your remit, including risk identification, recommendations for solution, and remediation.
Your Skills and Experience:
  • Extensive experience in leading multidisciplinary teams on complex projects, with experience in managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in supplier and manufacturing construction, optimization, including construction/technology planning and management, leading teams, budgeting and planning, procurement, risk management, client management, dispute/issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation experience across varied audiences.
  • Your previous experience should feature engineering, manufacturing, and construction focus.
  • Full P&L and budgetary accountability.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy making things happen.
Qualifications:
  • Degree qualified in engineering (mechanical ideal), science, or related fields.
  • Qualification in project management methods such as Lean, PMP, or Agile.
Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum
