Locum Mental Health Registered Nurse

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate mental health registered nurses to provide comprehensive care across all divisions of mental health nursing, including community, inpatient, acute, and more. As a locum mental health registered nurse with our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients with acute and chronic mental health needs.

  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centred care.
  • Support patients and families in decision-making, advocacy, and discharge planning.
  • Conduct clinical assessments, develop and evaluate care plans, and manage acute and chronic patient needs.

Our ideal candidate possesses:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA without restrictions.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in mental health nursing.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with patients and team members.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid driver's license for regional and remote roles.
  • Willingness to commit to travel nursing contracts in regional/remote locations for at least 12 weeks.
