About the Role:

The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team of engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and technical experts, defining and executing the national roadmap for OT & Cybersecurity, aligned with company strategy and market trends.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive vision for OT & Cybersecurity, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Commercial Management: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, driving profitability and mitigating risk.
  • Client Engagement: Build trusted relationships, support technical solution design, and represent the organization across industry forums.
  • Team Development: Mentor and support multidisciplinary teams across engineering, cybersecurity, and project delivery.
  • Innovation & Technology: Identify emerging technologies and trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Compliance & Safety: Champion cybersecurity frameworks and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Culture & Values: Foster a workplace culture built on accountability, care, and innovation.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years' experience in leading OT, industrial automation, or cybersecurity.
  • Proven senior leadership experience in complex industrial environments.
  • Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership and risk mitigation expertise.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • C Class Driver's Licence.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GICSP).
  • Experience in multi-site or national organisations.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
