About this Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced tradesperson to join our team as an Electrical Trades Instructor at CQUniversity's School of Trades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality training and assessment to apprentices in Electrical and/or Instrumentation courses.
  • Develop and implement training programs that meet industry standards and requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to students to ensure they achieve their learning goals.
  • Collaborate with industry partners to ensure our training programs are relevant and effective.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a relevant vocational qualification/s at the level equivalent to or higher than the level to be delivered.
  • Knowledge of the education and training sector and the ability to positively respond to new directions and demands of the training market.
  • Demonstrated current industry skills directly relevant to the training/assessment being delivered.
  • Possession of an Electrical Licence (desirable).
