Advanced Business Intelligence Specialist

The role of a Business Intelligence Data Analyst involves designing and implementing advanced business intelligence tools and analytics frameworks to enable informed decision-making. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position where you will interpret complex financial and operational data to identify trends and insights that support improvements in key performance areas.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders through BI and analytics tools.
- Work with stakeholders to scope, develop, and implement robust solutions with a focus on automation and self-serve capabilities.
- Contribute to the stability of solutions during key reporting periods by debugging and working across teams to resolve root cause issues.
- Support maintenance and enhancement of existing data models, processes, and dashboard reporting.
Skills and Qualifications:
Highly skilled in BI tools (preferably Looker, LookerML, Looker Studio), SQL, Python, and Alteryx with proven skill in writing and executing optimized queries in Google BigQuery. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Experience with machine learning is desired.
