QC Microbiologist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QC Microbiologist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our Quality Control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of microbiological quality in our biopharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities- Perform microbiological testing and associated tasks, including bioburden testing and environmental monitoring.
- Participate in activities related to analytical method verification and QC test strategy.
- Conduct growth promotion testing of microbiological media and maintain accurate documentation.
- Responsible for stock control within the Microbiology laboratory and perform all work in a safe manner.
- Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives and prepare, maintain, and improve quality of microbiological generated documents.
- Tertiary Science qualification with experience in laboratory testing and good aseptic technique.
- Background in Microbiology and/or related field with knowledge of GLP, cGMP, and Quality Principles.
- Proven record of ability to work as a team member and independently as required.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and take proactive measures to accomplish assigned duties.
