About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Designer to join our Brisbane team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in mining and minerals, with a focus on structural design and detailing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare structural layouts and detailed drawings in line with project requirements.
  • Ensure timely delivery of designs while collaborating with project team members.
  • Uphold design and drafting standards, adhering to established systems and protocols.
  • Proactively address design and scheduling challenges in consultation with the Project Lead.

Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications in Trade, Drafting, or Engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in a drafting role, preferably within the mining or engineering sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Structural drafting and design principles for final documentation.
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Advanced Steel, and Navisworks (experience with Projectwise is a plus).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to remain flexible and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
