About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Anton Murray Consulting. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of risk and regulatory remediation programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Analyzing and Evaluating Operational Processes**: You will analyze and evaluate existing operational processes to deploy risk controls and mitigants, ensuring that our client's business operations are aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • **Engaging with Stakeholders**: You will engage and liaise professionally and collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders, including the Executive Team, Senior Leadership Team, Delivery Teams, and other internal stakeholders, to understand business needs, current state, and advise on what Future State should look like.
  • **Data Analysis and Reporting**: You will gather and process data to identify process performance areas, conduct gap analysis, and present summary of findings. You will also conduct in-depth data analysis, process mapping, and workflow documentation to identify opportunities for standardization and optimization.
  • **Process Improvement**: You will design workflow and process strategies to improve business performance, create and present process reports for approval, and oversee the implementation of revised company processes and workflows.
  • **Monitoring and Evaluation**: You will monitor the efficiency of updated workflows and partner with Change Manager and Training Managers to assist with the development and delivery of change as a result of the above analysis.
Requirements
  • **5-7 years of experience** in risk management within Australia's financial services/APRA-regulated entities, including business partnering roles.
  • **Tertiary qualification** in Business, Law, Finance, Risk, or related field.
  • **Proven experience** in process improvement.
  • **Strong experience** working on regulatory compliance-driven environments and projects.
  • **Excellent commercial acumen** and the ability to think strategically to identify and mitigate risks to the processes as well as opportunities.
Additional Requirements
  • **Data Analytics skills**, including experience with tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
  • **Exposure** to first-line/second-line/operational roles in Asset Servicing/Fund Administration/Capital Markets/Cash Payments operations.
  • **Good knowledge** of the latest industry trends and regulatory changes.
