Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in the Emergency Department, managing a range of urgent and critical cases. The ideal candidate will have essential experience in Emergency Department (ED) settings and a strong background in emergency care.

About the Role

We have multiple contracts available across Hospital & Health services in QLD, ranging from 4-12 weeks with potential to extend. Duties for this contract include:

  • Providing advanced life support and pediatric advanced life support as required.
  • Carrying out IV cannulation with proficiency.
  • Utilizing triage, resuscitation, and ventilation skills to effectively handle emergency situations.
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining high standards of care.
Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Essential experience in Emergency Department (ED) settings.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
  • Proficiency in IV cannulation.
  • Triage, resuscitation, and ventilation skills highly desirable.
  • AHPRA Registration (must be current).
  • National Police Check.
  • Australian Immunisation History.
  • Additional Mandatory Trainings.
