Job Opportunity
The Disability Employment Services role of Employment Consultant involves collaborating with participants to enhance their employability and delivering tailored employment solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure job opportunities for individuals with local employers
- Support individuals to identify skills necessary for employment readiness
- Deliver high-quality services while adhering to contractual and compliance requirements
- Enhance employability through training, support service referrals, and personalised job plans
- Build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups
This role is suited to driven, solutions-focused individuals who are motivated to deliver exceptional outcomes for their clients. They should demonstrate empathy and compassion towards those with disability, injury, or barriers to employment.
Backgrounds in sales, retail, call centre, hospitality, consulting, business development, and administration are well-suited for this role. Full training is provided to help you turn transferable skills into a career in Employment Services.
Requirements
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
- A MyGovID (Standard level)
- Willingness to complete a National Police Check
- Able to pass a Working with Children Check
- Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
