Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our Endoscopy team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and working in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supply Management: Inventory supplies in designated areas, order supplies according to PAR levels, and perform end-of-day reviews.
  • Instrument Reprocessing: Reprocess endoscopes using the scope washer, document cycle results, and maintain cleanliness of the Endoscopy unit.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up equipment in areas outside Endoscopy (e.g. SCU, OR, ED) and ensure it is properly maintained.
  • Procedure Support: Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, prepare instruments and supplies, and maintain procedure setup according to designated preferences.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean and restock the endoscopy unit, wash and assemble instruments, and transport patients as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of asepsis principles and instrument handling
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
