About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environment Professional to join our team at Service Stream. As an HSEQ Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting management and employees in the implementation of policies, systems, programs, and initiatives that ensure local legislative requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and assistance with health and safety legislative compliance, ensuring that our organization meets all relevant regulations and standards.
• Assist in the management of local HSE reporting systems, maintaining current and relevant information for assurance, incident reporting, and consultation processes.
• Plan, implement, and provide internal training to employees to enhance safety awareness and compliance, promoting a culture of safety and well-being within the organization.
• Conduct safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, and identify corrective actions, ensuring that our organization maintains a safe and healthy work environment.
• Perform Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC) and assist employees with hazard and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential safety risks, ensuring that our organization takes a proactive approach to risk management.

About You

• You will have relevant industry experience in safety management, with a strong understanding of health and safety legislative requirements and regulations.
• You will possess strong people skills, with the capacity to listen to others, identify their needs, and provide appropriate guidance and support, promoting a culture of open communication and collaboration within the organization.
• You will have well-developed communications skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage people across all levels of an organization, ensuring that your message is clear, concise, and effective.
