**Job Title:** Health and Safety SpecialistAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters, developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures, and conducting regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices;
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for remedial action;
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to employees, management, and external stakeholders;
  • Schedule and deliver training sessions on health and safety topics to employees and external stakeholders;
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement;
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure health and safety is integrated into all aspects of business operations.
Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field;
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a similar industry;
  • Relevant certifications, such as WHS Diploma or IOSH Certified Member, are highly desirable.
