Highly Skilled Apprentice Tiler

We're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Tiler.
Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will be stepping into a dynamic learning environment where they'll be placed with one of our host employers and guided through the intricacies of the trade. You'll have hands-on opportunities to work on real projects, gaining valuable skills and experience.
- You can expect to work full-time, 40 hours per week + the opportunity to accrue an RDO each month.
- This apprenticeship duration is 4 years, providing you with ample time to become trade qualified and earn your Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling.
As a Tiling apprentice, you can expect to:
- Assist in preparing surfaces for tiling, including cleaning and leveling.
- Learn to cut, shape, and lay tiles accurately to achieve desired patterns and designs.
- Assist in the application of adhesives, grout, and sealants.
- Observe safety practices and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional tiling projects.
- Be proactive in seeking knowledge and improvement in tiling techniques.
- Any other tasks requested by the host employer.
The successful candidate will ideally meet the following criteria:
- Genuine interest and enthusiasm for the Tiling trade.
- Must hold a White Card or able to obtain ASAP.
- Hold a current Drivers License and have own reliable transport.
- Work Experience within the construction industry is highly desirable.
- Must be physically fit.
- Be a perfectionist with an eye for the finer details.
- Be reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to take direction.
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction from others.
