This leadership role requires oversight of multiple responsibilities across quality of care, financial management, general administration, environment, and human resources to ensure high standards of care and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality nursing and social care services, compliance with regulations, staff training, and innovative practices.
  • Manage budgets, monitor financial procedures, and understand funding structures.
  • Conduct team meetings, liaise with community agencies, handle complaints, and promote the organization within the community.
  • Implement health and safety policies, ensure hygiene standards, and oversee maintenance and catering quality.
  • Participate in staff recruitment, training, and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) with at least 3 years' recent experience caring for older persons.
  • Post-registration management qualification in health or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' management experience in health and social care.
  • Registered on the Nurses and Midwives Board Ireland (NMBI) register.
  • Proven healthcare management track record, leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Financial acumen, team motivation, flexibility, and initiative.
