We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanical Repair Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will work on the service and repair of off-highway truck products for CAT, Hitachi, and similar heavy mining equipment.

A mechanical trade qualification is highly regarded, but candidates with a high level of mechanical aptitude and experience with large mining equipment will also be considered.

As a Heavy Duty Mechanical Repair Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:

• Repairing, rebuilding, and bolting up radiators and cooling systems
• Preparing and painting components as required
• Stripping, washing, and testing components
• Operating hand tools such as grinders, spray painting equipment, and other machinery
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of employee knowledge

To be considered for this position, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a mechanical role
• A High Risk Work License - Forklift and Dogging
• A mechanical trade qualification (preferred)
• A Vehicle license (preferred)
• Previous experience working in the mining or manufacturing industry (preferred)
