We are seeking a motivated and skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our Haematology department in our state-of-the-art laboratory at Bowen Hills. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a range of automated laboratory equipment and receive industry-leading training in microscopic and digital blood film morphology.

", "Responsibilities": "
  • Perform a range of routine and advanced haematology and coagulation tests.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure appropriate management of cases.
  • Uphold quality standards within the laboratory by adhering to departmental quality system procedures.
  • Comply with the occupational health and safety policy and programs to ensure personal health and safety, and the health and safety of others in the workplace.
  • Satisfy the requirements of customers both internal and external through the provision of reliable and efficient service levels.

To be successful in this role, you will require a degree qualified in Medical Laboratory Science. You will also need to have the demonstrated ability to work methodically and accurately, whilst prioritising your workload. You will be organised, have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a team.
