Occupational Health Nursing Position

This role involves delivering comprehensive occupational health services across various client sites, focusing on the promotion of employee health, wellbeing, and safety.

You will contribute to the dynamic business needs of the Occupational Health team by conducting routine and safety-critical medicals, pre-placement medicals, and substance misuse screening.

A key aspect of this role is conducting health surveillance assessments, maintaining professional and clinical standards in line with NMC guidance and procedures.

You will also ensure accurate and confidential patient records are maintained in accordance with clinical best practice.

Support sickness absence management by liaising with HR and HSE teams.

Advise clients on health and wellbeing strategies, contributing to the development of internal and client policies.

Additionally, you will support the promotion of TAC Healthcare services through professional service delivery and awareness of new company initiatives.

Case management, both face-to-face and remotely, will be a crucial responsibility of this position.

Travel to client sites as required to deliver services.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you must be a qualified and registered nurse with the NMC, bringing at least two years of experience in Occupational Health—ideally within sectors such as Oil and Gas, construction, local authorities, or manufacturing.

Essential Skills & Experience include NMC registration as a Registered Nurse, minimum of 2 years' Occupational Health experience, proven case management capability both face to face and remotely.

You should have strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism, proficient in IT systems including Microsoft Office.

Ongoing professional development is encouraged, desirable qualifications and experience include NMC registration as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (OH) or a relevant Occupational Health qualification (Cert/Diploma/Degree).

They should be friendly, approachable, and professional, comfortable balancing clinical needs with regulatory reporting requirements.
