Empowering Individuals with Disability

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at Scope.

About the Role:

  • This is a permanent, part-time position located in Hamilton.
  • You will support our customers with their daily tasks and goals through a person-centred approach.
  • Your shifts will be on a monthly rotating roster with fortnightly splits.
  • We are looking for an individual with experience within the disability sector, including experience dealing with complex behaviours of concern.
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to build and manage friendly relationships within a team environment.
  • A Certificate IV in Disability is highly desirable.

  • A salary based on the Disability Services Enterprise Agreement Victoria 2018-2022, with membership to HACSU (Health and Community Services Union).

What We Offer:

To be successful in this role, you must have or be willing to obtain:

  • A Certificate IV in Disability.
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance and Working with Children's Check (Employee).
  • A Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Valid Australian Working Rights and an International Police Check if you have lived or worked overseas for more than one (1) year within the last ten years.
