Merchandiser Job

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in retail and has excellent communication skills.

The job involves visiting multiple stores daily, developing strong relationships with store managers, and checking stock levels. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable car are essential requirements for this position.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be physically fit and able to complete tasks independently. You will also need to have a positive attitude and be committed to working autonomously.

  • About the Role
  • This role covers various suburbs in Canberra and surrounding areas.
  • The pay rate is based on hourly wage and kilometres travelled from store-to-store.
  • We provide comprehensive online induction and ongoing training programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Placing stock on shelves according to a plan (planogram)
  • Removing point-of-sale displays and implementing new ones
  • Visiting multiple stores daily
  • Developing strong working relationships with store personnel
  • Negotiating for extra space with store managers
  • Checking stock levels and reporting accurate data upon completion of tasks
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A great attitude and positive mindset are vital for this role
  • Great communication skills to build strong working relationships with store personnel
  • Previous retail or merchandising experience
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable car
  • Ability to receive Point of Sale items to your home address
  • Ability to report work via apps on an iPad supplied by the company
  • Committed to working autonomously in a casual position
  • Must be physically fit to complete work autonomously, including repetitive tasks such as lifting and reaching
