Automotive Electrical Technician

Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Automotive Electrical Technician to contribute to our operations at Hitachi Construction Machinery. In this position, you will be tasked with diagnosing electrical issues, performing maintenance, and executing installations and repairs across various machinery and equipment. Reporting directly to the supervisor, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Designing and implementing electrical components
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults
- Conducting maintenance on electrical tools and equipment
- Providing service and repairs for air conditioning systems
- Executing field service repairs as required
Qualifications:
- Accredited Auto Electrical Qualification recognized in Australia along with a valid driver's license
- Proven experience with mobile plant machinery and heavy equipment
- Possession of an air conditioning license is a plus
- Strong knowledge of CANBus and PLC systems
- Experience in field service operations
- Familiarity with maintenance practices for construction equipment
- Commitment to Workplace Health & Safety standards
