**Requirements**

Our selection criteria are:

  • At least 3 years of editing experience in the publishing industry.
  • Proven experience working with traditional publishers and established authors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in editing at least 5 published books with excellent reviews, available on major online platforms.

**Preferred Qualifications**

We value experience working for a reputable publishing company or a history of delivering high-quality work with bestselling authors/books.

**Benefits**

As a Reedsy editor, you can choose which genres you'd like to receive requests for and select the projects that align with your expertise. You can set your own rates, workload, and working hours. You can provide services such as editorial assessment, developmental editing, copy editing, proofreading, and query letter review, based on your experience and skills.
