Metcash is seeking a skilled Trade Team Member to join our team at our Penrith store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, working collaboratively with colleagues, and contributing to the store's overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the health and safety of all staff, customers, and contractors within the department
  • Serve customers in the yard, assisting with orders and providing fast and efficient service
  • Pick orders for delivery trucks
  • Put away stock, primarily timber and associated products

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a strong customer focus and ability to work in a team environment
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prioritize workload to meet deadlines and be physically fit to work on your feet all day
  • Have an eye for detail, a sense of urgency, and be punctual and reliable
  • Hold a forklift license and be available to work across five days of the week
