Project Engineer

Lycopodium is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team of project delivery experts. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, designing, evaluating, execution, and handover of assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Project Manager in ensuring the quality of deliverables aligns with project, company, and client requirements.
- Follow project-specific and company procedures, work practices, plans, and protocols to maintain a consistent approach and high standard of work.
- Assist with procurement, inspection, and expediting activities.
- Carry out assigned project activities, including site engineer duties, prioritizing safety, environment, community, and quality.
- Assist in maintaining the project schedule and budget, including change management.
- Undertake investigations and prepare reports as directed by the Project Manager.
- Participate in the Project Quality Management process, including inspections at vendor premises and review of vendor quality documentation.
- Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering qualification or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of post-graduate engineering experience in the heavy Industrial, Chemical, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Manufacturing sectors.
- PMBOK or equivalent project management qualification is favorable.
- Ability to influence stakeholders through written and verbal communication across different cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues across different disciplines.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Solid technical aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development.
- Ability to travel as part of Project requirements, including national and international sites, as per Company Policies.
