The Role

At Veeva Systems, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our implementation services in the Asia Pacific region.

This pivotal role will involve communicating our value proposition and implementation offerings to prospects and customers, as well as building the team's capability to deliver high-quality solutions.

The successful candidate will contribute ideas and work to innovate and refine our internal offerings and processes, and improve our delivery model to meet the dynamic needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Be the key point of contact with prospects and customers on Veeva's implementation services offerings.
  2. Understand customer requirements and translate them into engagement work, including services work estimations and proposals.
  3. Engage with multiple prospects and customers in the Australia/New Zealand and Southeast Asia region as Veeva positions its Quality and Regulatory Management solutions for companies in the Consumer Products industry.
  4. Act as project manager or services delivery lead on customer implementations, which may involve an element of individual contribution as well as leading others in the team.
  5. In the longer term, be able to recruit and hire other individuals into your implementation services team as customer needs and organization growth dictate.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience implementing off-the-shelf content and/or data management systems.
  2. 2+ years of experience selling Professional Services, from pitching a value proposition and scoping needs to estimates efforts and contract authoring.
  3. Direct experience leading a team of consultants, either directly (people manager) or through projects (project manager at a large scale).
  4. Demonstrated work history in critical thinking skills, ability to conduct complex and technical communications in a wide variety of settings and audiences, and the determination to see client success with solution implementation.
  5. Has a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-moving environment.
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills, executive-level presence, and experience in facilitation and negotiation.
  7. Has the ability to travel 25% to 50% for engagements with customers and prospects across Asia.

Nice to Have:

  1. Understanding of global Quality and compliance processes for Consumer Products or Food & Beverage companies.
  2. Direct experience with content management and quality information management systems, such as Veeva Vault, MasterControl, Sparta TrackWise, OpenText, SharePoint, and Documentum.
  3. Direct experience in computer systems validation (CSV).
  4. Experience working with large, multinational customers across the Australia/NZ and South-East Asia region.
  5. Fluency in Mandarin to facilitate discussions with China-based customers and colleagues.
