**Job Opportunity:** Food Services Assistant
Northern Beaches Hospital is a world-class facility offering healthcare services to patients. The hospital features state-of-the-art facilities, including a 50-bed Emergency Department and 14 theatres.
The Food Service department at Northern Beaches Hospital requires casual staff to assist in food preparation and service. As a Food Services Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing food trays for patient consumption
- Delivering and serving patient food requirements according to established meal schedules
- Assisting in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
- Cleaning and sanitizing food service equipment according to hospital standards
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (or willingness to attain)
- Prior experience in food services or a related field
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early/late shifts and weekend work
