About the Role

As a key member of our Finance Operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Tabcorp Group's general ledger, financial reporting, and compliance with industry and regulatory payment obligations.

In this vital position, you will oversee and optimize commercial payment and reporting processes, both domestic and international. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring calculations prepared by the offshore team are accurate and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Preparing and reviewing financial documentation, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and other records related to commercial payments and billing.
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline and automate payment processes.
  • SUPPORTING internal and external audits by preparing documentation, responding to auditor inquiries, and providing necessary records.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies and industry authorities, to ensure seamless payment operations.
  • Ensuring all payment processes comply with applicable laws and regulations.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess a solid foundation in financial and operational accounting, with a meticulous approach to accuracy and compliance. Additionally, you will need:

  • A strong audit background and experience managing commercial payments, particularly in large and complex corporate settings.
  • A tertiary degree in Accounting or Finance, with a CA or CPA certification.
  • A thorough understanding of Australian accounting principles and regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, such as Oracle, with high attention to detail in financial document preparation and review.
  • Familiarity with the Wagering industry and its regulatory landscape is advantageous.
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary package of $120,000 per annum, inclusive of superannuation. In addition to your base salary, you will receive:
