The Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Garden Maintenance Team Leader. This full-time position offers 38 hours of work per week and a competitive annual salary, along with superannuation benefits.

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct a team of maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • FOLLOW SCHEDULES AND PRIORITISE TASKS TO ENSURE TIMELY COMPLETION OF GARDEN MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING PLANTING, HEDGING, WEEDING, PRUNING, AND FERTILISING.
  • PROVIDE GUIDANCE, MENTORSHIP, AND TRAINING TO THE TEAM TO ENHANCE THEIR HORTICULTURAL SKILLS AND SAFETY PRACTICES.
  • Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions.
  • Interact with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on maintenance activities.

What You Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens.
  • A Working With Children Check, or a willingness to obtain one.
  • A Valid Driver's License.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
