Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and support FEED and Designs studies, including detailed design calculations
  • Develop and support the development of scoping documents, such as routing studies, construction methodology, design criteria, and alignment sheets
  • Participate and support in Risk assessment & SMS workshops
  • Proactively communicate with Project Managers and Team Members to ensure Projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget
  • Manage and track single-discipline projects
  • Prepare and support cost estimates, equipment summaries, and tender packages
  • Write technical reports as required
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent engineering degrees, with a minimum of 8 years' experience in the design of Oil & Gas pipelines and associated assemblies. Proven Australian experience in pipeline design, including concept development, FEED, and detail design phases, is essential. Knowledge of Pipeline Integrity and Operations and Maintenance philosophies will be advantageous.

You should have in-depth knowledge of AS2885 and other relevant Australian Standards, acts, regulations, and codes related to the pipeline industry. Engineers Australia Chartered Engineer or equivalent, and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (current or eligible to attain), are also required.

We are looking for a candidate who can perform engineering tasks with minimal supervision, manage their time and work independently, and manage the workload and utilisation of junior engineers. Proven experience with mentoring junior engineers is also essential.
