About the Role

This Senior Manager role is a critical leadership position within our organisation, reporting directly to the CIO and at the heart of safeguarding SA Water's IT and OT environments.

You will be responsible for leading the Cyber Security and Resilience team to drive strategic priorities, build a collaborative culture, and ensure team performance is aligned with SA Water's business goals.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in cyber leadership roles managing complex and diverse cyber security and resilience functions, as well as excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of cyber security strategies, policies, and risk management processes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the Information Security Management System (ISMS), manage cyber security incidents, and continuously improve risk management processes to ensure the organisation's resilience.
  • Safeguard SA Water's critical information and technology assets by developing systems and processes for risk management, monitoring threats, and providing specialist advice on security implementation.

Success in this role will come from relevant qualifications in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or Business Management, strong knowledge of laws, policies, and standards applicable to information and cyber security for critical infrastructure providers, and proven ability to develop and maintain Cyber Security Management Systems in complex organisations.
