About the Role:
This Permanent, Full-time position based at the Brisbane Airport requires a highly skilled professional to lead and develop a Parts & Logistics team, work closely with the Technical Operations management team, and provide strategic support to RFDSQ fleet operations. Key responsibilities include developing, implementing, and effectively managing RFDS QLD supply chain, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing oversight and management of tooling and equipment across the engineering network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Parts & Logistics team to deliver timely and cost-effective procurement and inventory solutions.
- Develop, implement, and effectively manage RFDS QLD supply chain.
- Provide oversight and management of tooling and equipment across the engineering network, ensuring calibration, compliance, and availability to support maintenance activities.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will require aviation or equivalent technical experience in aviation logistics and stock control, demonstrated leadership experience in managing a supply chain or logistics team within the aviation sector, sound knowledge of, or ability to understand, the regulatory environment in relation to Aircraft Maintenance and Airworthiness Control, high level written and verbal communication skills, proven attention to detail and high degree of accuracy, proficient computer skills, and ability to understand and resolve complex problems and systems.
