Teaching Automotive Professionals

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the training and development of the next generation of automotive professionals.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join our team as a Lecturer in Automotive. The successful applicant will have:

  • Trade Qualifications: Certificate III (minimum) in Automotive, ideally dual trade qualification in areas like Auto Electrical, Marine, Mobile Plant, Motorcycle, or Small Engine.
  • Training Qualifications: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116 or later) or currently working towards it.
  • Experience: Proven industry experience in automotive trades and established relationships with industry stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant technology, software packages, and learning management platforms used in Automotive Vehicle programs.

The role involves delivering high-quality training to students in the Automotive programs, including Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, Auto Electrical, and other relevant trades. You will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and reviewing learning materials that incorporate flexible delivery methodologies and industry best practices.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent role that requires a flexible approach to the hours of duty. Out-of-hours work may be required, and some intrastate and interstate travel may be necessary. A valid Australian driver's license is essential.
