Job Title: Line Work Specialist

The Line Work program will provide instruction in theoretical and practical aspects of power line work.

  • Design and deliver educational experiences for a diverse group of learners.
  • Maintain adherence to health and safety practices and procedures in the classroom, shops, and labs.

This position may involve various delivery modalities (e.g., in-class, online, blended), off-site instruction, and alternate work hours.

Responsibilities include developing teaching materials, providing academic advisement, participating on committees, curriculum revision, supporting work placements, liaising with industry partners, representing the college, and upholding NSCC standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide instruction in power line work theory and practice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design educational experiences.
  • Evaluate student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.

You will contribute to the development and implementation of programs that meet industry needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
