This role involves providing patient-centred care in a Cardiology Ward setting. The successful candidate will have the ability to work a 7 day rotating roster and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the healthcare team. They will also be expected to maintain accurate records and participate in quality improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care that meets the needs of patients and their families
  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement activities to ensure continuous improvement in patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Experience in Cardiology Ward (preferred)
  • Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
