About the Role

Infinite Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our team responsible for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of our client's cyber security transformation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering cyber security risk management and analyst services on-premise and cloud-based services and their associated security challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management and implementation of IT security strategies to ensure the security posture of our client's network and information.
  • Align security expectations with industry best practices, including the ISM, PSPF, Essential 8, and other relevant standards.
  • Provide cybersecurity advice to a broad range of stakeholders, including building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with Australian Government Security Standards.
  • Conduct security and quality assurance reviews, including supporting IRAP preparation activities and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Manage cyber risk to support secure departmental systems and services, identifying opportunities to improve the security posture of the department's network and information.
  • Contribute to the migration of services to a cloud environment, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a Baseline AGSVA security clearance.
  • Ability to work in our client's Canberra office a minimum of 3 days per week.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Proven experience in delivering cyber security risk management and analyst services on-premise and cloud-based services.
