Seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in a leadership role, focusing on clinical leadership and support.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure consistency in clinical practice and effective facilitation of growing demand for injectable medications.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical leadership and support to ensure consistency in clinical practice and effective facilitation of growing demand for injectable medications
  • Developing and implementing clinical management plans to manage complex clinical care needs of patients
  • Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with at least 3 years experience working in a relevant area with post-registration qualifications deemed appropriate by the organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and problem solve to manage complex clinical care needs of patients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the multidisciplinary team

This is a Category A position requiring evidence of vaccination to comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy (PD2022_030).

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
