Role Summary:

The Water Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring effective water management practices on-site. This position is vital for maintaining compliance with environmental regulations and standards, particularly in relation to water management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily water management operations, ensuring adherence to environmental protocols.
• Conduct water sampling and analysis to support environmental compliance.
• Collaborate with construction teams to address water-related environmental issues.
• Facilitate communication regarding environmental standards and water management procedures.
• Coordinate environmental water sampling across various project sites.
• Review and analyze data to provide insights for stakeholders.
• Implement and uphold the Environmental Management Strategy and related documentation.
• Foster a proactive environmental culture within the team.
• Engage with the Environmental Team to address emerging issues and compliance requirements.
• Participate in construction planning meetings to ensure environmental considerations are integrated.
• Identify training needs related to environmental management.
• Assist with additional tasks as directed by the Environmental Management team.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Environmental Management or a related field.
• Valid Driver's License.
• White Card certification.

Experience:

• At least one year of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with construction personnel and stakeholders.
