About the Role:
- Work as part of a traditional firm of doctors, including consultants, other registrars, medical officers, and interns.
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in our busy emergency department.
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
About the Facility:
Our 700-bed health service is a major provider of acute, secondary, and tertiary hospital services, serving metropolitan and rural areas. We offer a range of medical and surgical services, including emergency and intensive care, aged care, rehabilitation, oncology, mental health, maternity, and pediatric services.
Eligibility:
- General, Provisional, or Limited registration with AHPRA or eligible to obtain.
- IMGs that have completed at least the AMC MCQ (part 1) or completed both AMC 1 & 2 (clinical exam).
- IMGs eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada, or Ireland).
- IMGs assessed by ACEM College as partially or substantially comparable.
- IMGs interested in foreign training via the Short Term Training Specialist Pathway (STT).
- Have experience working as an Emergency Medicine Registrar.
