">Mater Misericordiae Ltd, a leading healthcare provider in Queensland, is seeking highly motivated and qualified individuals to join our Perioperative Services Department as Healthcare Professionals in the Cardiac Cath Lab team.
Our department provides surgical services across 16 theatres, catering for adults and paediatrics with various surgical specialties. We boast state-of-the-art theatre facilities, a catheterization laboratory, and separate onsite day surgery facilities. Our commitment to innovation is reflected in our implementation of robotic surgery using the da Vinci Surgical System.
Estimated Salary: $45,449 - $58,930 per year
Job Responsibilities:
- Undertake coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention, pacemaker insertion, embolisation, percutaneous vascular intervention, and cardiac electrophysiology procedures in Scout, Scrub, and Monitor capacities.
- Deliver exceptional patient care, demonstrating skill in clinical decision-making and hands-on care.
- Apply clinical assessment procedures to evaluate medical health status, identifying timely interventions for optimal patient outcomes.
- Implement quality and risk management strategies to ensure service excellence.
- Maintain current knowledge and skills for continued professional growth.
- Collaborate effectively within a skilled team environment.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA.
- At least 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting with relevant Cath Lab or Cardiac experience.
- Postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded but not essential.
- Proven clinical competence and ability to maintain high nursing standards.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills for maximised patient care outcomes.
- Knowledge and commitment to continuous healthcare improvement and nursing practice.
