
Support Worker for Family Violence Services

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to join our team as a Case Management Support Worker. This role plays a vital part in providing onsite support to adults and children experiencing or having experienced family violence and need refuge and crisis accommodation.
As a key member of our team, you will work alongside Case Managers to arrange practical support for clients, including childcare, medical care, material aid, and transport. You will also maintain related record keeping and documentation.
This position is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and contribute to creating a community free from family violence and sexual assault.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite support to adults and children experiencing or having experienced family violence and need refuge and crisis accommodation.
- Work alongside Case Managers to arrange practical support for clients, including childcare, medical care, material aid, and transport.
- Maintain related record keeping and documentation.
- Enhance service efficiency and effectiveness by arranging practical supports and streamlining administrative processes.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate or diploma qualification in social work, community services, community development or a related field.
- Foundational understanding of the drivers, dynamics, and impacts of family violence.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to develop skills in work with adults, young people, and children from diverse backgrounds facing complex challenges related to family violence, homelessness, health, and mental health.
Benefits:
Annual salary range: $76,386.73 - $81,924.00 annually (pro rata for part-time). Salary will be commensurate with experience and skills. Superannuation: Employer will also make superannuation payments on your behalf in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992.
