Primer and Factory Hand Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Primer and Factory Hand. This is a challenging opportunity that will see you working on the priming machine, setting up and pulling down the primer for each job, and keeping stock take of the paint.

The successful candidate will be required to assist with other tasks such as sorting timber feedstock, feeding timber moulding machine, and general housekeeping of your area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the priming machine efficiently and effectively.
  • Set up and pull down the primer for each job.
  • Keep accurate stock take of paint and other materials.
  • Assist with sorting timber feedstock and feeding timber moulding machine.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • A forklift license is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to work an 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office.
