We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Platypus Shoes. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in leading a team of sales assistants and driving sales and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Store Operations: Ensure the efficient operation of the store, achieving optimal results in sales targets, KPIs, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage.
- Team Leadership: Motivate and coach your team to achieve optimal results in KPIs and added value targets, while maintaining high team morale and encouraging individual development.
- Sales and Customer Service: Closely monitor store sales to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets, and provide excellent customer service to customers.
- Wage Management: Effectively manage wage costs in store, adhering to weekly wage targets and company rostering standards.
- OH&S Management: Ensure efficient OH&S management and adhere to state and national OH&S legislation.
- Demonstrated experience as a full-time or senior casual sales assistant, key holder, supervisor, or 3IC.
- A motivated and driven attitude, with a passion for leading and inspiring a team to succeed.
- A proven track record in driving sales and meeting KPIs and targets.
- Operational excellence and experience with stock control and visual merchandising.

- Sunday to Thursday roster, with two consecutive days off in a row.
