**Job Opportunity:**

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Audience Editor.

The key strategist for 7NEWS Digital's content will be responsible for analysing audience data and tailoring content to meet the needs of different groups.

The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for news, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to deliver personalized content that enhances user engagement and drives traffic to the website.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Analyse audience data using tools like Google Analytics, Google Trends and Google Search Console to identify content preferences and what resonates with different audience segments.
  • Collaborate with editorial teams to optimise content for engagement and SEO.
  • Develop strategies for content segmentation and personalization based on user behaviour.
  • Partner with editorial and SEO teams to ensure articles reach the right audience.
  • Monitor and report on audience engagement metrics and content performance, providing actionable insights to further refine content strategy, enhance engagement, page views, and retention.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Expertise in social strategy and how to optimise content for each platform.
  • Comprehensive understanding of SEO strategy and analysis including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs and SEMrush.
  • Extensive knowledge of how Google Analytics can be used to change editorial strategies, optimise content and drive direct and internal traffic.
