Digital Application Developer

As a seasoned developer, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of our Digital Service Platform (DSP). Your expertise will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining OutSystems applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to business requirements and solution/UI designs for OutSystems applications.
  • Deliver detailed designs and proofs of concept for common components, workflows, and functionalities.
  • Develop, unit-test, and deploy OutSystems applications.
  • Ensure applications comply with project outcomes, architectural patterns, WCAG, and security requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to coding, privacy, and security standards.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, development best practices, and guidelines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of applications, environments, and processes.
  • Cosch and mentor junior staff, providing knowledge transfer as required.
Selection Criteria:
  • Essential:
    • Minimum 5+ years of experience developing and deploying complex web applications.
    • Experience with enterprise low-code digital platforms (OutSystems preferred).
    • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks such as React/Angular).
    • Experience with REST/JSON-based web services.
    • Strong SQL knowledge including queries and performance tuning.
    • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (TFS, GIT, JIRA).
    • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and automated unit testing.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
    • Ability to work independently with accountability for outcomes.
  • Desirable:
    • Tertiary qualification in IT, engineering, or a relevant field.
