About the Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Fellow in Tectonics to work on an industry project focused on the development of workflows and datasets for the reconstruction of palaeogeography through time.
Your Key Responsibilities: Your key responsibilities will include liaising regularly with the industry partner to discuss progress and workflow development, compiling relevant datasets from the published literature into data formats requested by the industry partner, developing well-documented workflows to support the validation of palaeogeographies through time, and writing and maintaining industry-specific documentation for workflows and datasets.
About You: To be successful in this role, you will need a PhD in Geosciences or a closely related field, expertise in plate tectonics, programming experience using Python, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
